The Role:

Lead and manage product analytics for new brands being launched, provide strategic guidance and direction in driving analytics support and steer product decisions. Oversee activities relating to product analytics, including crunching large data sets, analyzing and building models and driving key insights while collaborating with other cross-functional teams such as Product, Finance, CRM, Engineering and business Intelligence. Manage and direct the analysis of market strategies through reviewing and evaluating product trends. Provide strategic guidance and direction to product management, marketing and CRM teams on A/B tests as they move from initiatives from concept to market. Lead and guide strategic opportunities to apply data science and synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to provide recommendations for action where it will offer cross functional benefits. Allocate and direct resources to provide key insights to internal customers on their specific ad-hoc needs and analyze competitive market strategies through researching market trends. Serve as the subject matter expert on managing the application of various statistical methodologies towards distilling actionable insights and utilization of timely flow of business intelligence information to users. Oversee and guide research on issues about customer behavior/changes by analyzing relevant metrics, and trends. Manage and direct the analysis of market strategies through reviewing and evaluating product trends. Required to travel to LA office 2-4 times per year. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to 8750 N Central Expressway, Suite 1400, Dallas, TX 75231. Salary: $177,000 - $240,000 per year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Business Analyst or any occupation/position/job title involving data analysis and product analytics.  Must also have experience in the following: 5 years of professional experience performing product analytics at a high-growth consumer tech company (including driving product strategy and coordinating with cross-functional teams including Product, Finance, CRM, Engineering and Business Intelligence) to support new product launches, existing product enhancements, new marketing entries and growth initiatives in the form of active user base and revenue; 3 years of professional experience analyzing large data sets, inclusive of user events, views within business to consumer mobile and desktop products and purchase history of millions of monthly active users, and to build descriptive and predictive models driving key insights; 3 years of professional experience managing direct market strategy analysis with tools including Hive, Hadoop, SQL/SQL Server, Python, or R (with associated scientific computing and statistical packages); 3 years of professional experience leveraging visualization tools (including Tableau) to craft relevant data into visualizations for executive level consumption; 3 years of professional experience optimizing pricing and discounting strategies for consumer technology products; 3 years of professional experience working with and optimizing recommendation engines for consumer technology products; 3 years of professional experience managing cross functional teams across engineering, marketing, finance and analytics; 2 years of professional experience leading strategic plans that apply data science and synthesize current business intelligence trends; 2 years of professional experience working directly with C-suite executives supporting short, mid-term and long-term product strategies with relevant data-based insights in an advisory role. CONTACT: Please email resume to: Lauren.Lozano@Match.com.
