We are looking for a brand leader for Japan to shape and grow Tinder business and brand. This is a high-impact role that will report directly to the Tinder VP of Asia.

You will

  • Set Tinder Japan's brand KPI and translate into multi-year integrated marketing strategies and campaigns to achieve brand growth including revenue, user, equity.
  • Build, inspire and lead a Tinder Japan team to drive and execute GTM plans. Leads team in operating with a growth and team-first mindset, with clearly defined roles, career paths.
  • Annual and quarterly marketing planning including investment strategies, brand campaign, partnerships, media strategy and marketing innovations.
  • Lead the creation of impactful marketing collateral, content, and messaging that resonates with target audience.
  • Closely monitor ecosystem health and implement right CRM, Product marketing strategy to maximize user experience and monetization opportunities.
  • Partner with communications team to deliver proactive PR strategy.

You have

  • Proven experience in building and shaping the world’s best consumer brands. Ideally with experience on brand focused on youth, culture or digital.
  • Strong business acumen with proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Collaborate team player with experience in leading the team, by setting clear and challenging goals.
  • Experience of making data-informed business and marketing strategies with effective analytical thinking
  • A proven track record across all marketing disciplines with full funnel consumer experience

Key deliverables

  • Delivering the Japanese market growth strategy, targets and brand health of the Tinder brand in Japan.
  • Delivering marketing efficacy against country goals and fiscal management of all budgets etc.
  • Leading the Japanese marketing team, responsible for operational structure, performance reviews and growth plans of each team member.
  • Managing a marketing budget of which you can allocate as needed to different initiatives to deliver against Japan market goals.
  • Overseeing the execution of Tinder Japan marketing initiatives, including localized CRM, PR, growth, brand, performance and influencer marketing.
  • Collaborating with other cross-functional teams within Tinder (product/engineering, other regions, and other Match Group brands).
  • Delivering a clear understanding of local consumer insights as it relates to product usage and needs, cultural nuances and user behaviour.
  • Managing Press Relations and Government Relations by working with internal and external teams
