The Role:

As Associate Manager, Culture & Content team, you will support Tinder’s marketing efforts to break into and fuel cultural relevance in the US. This role will concentrate on building campaigns that drive perception and adoption for Tinder amongst Gen Z, specifically college students. This role will be both creative and executional: helping to identify key moments and conversations for Tinder to explore, while also helping the team with day-to-day responsibilities to drive campaigns forward. The right candidate is a Gen Z expert who is on the pulse of social media, trends, pop culture and deep understanding of young adult behavior.

This role will operate out of our Los Angeles (West Hollywood) office in a hybrid work environment which will require in office presence 3x a week.

In this role you will:

  • Support and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns to help drive perception and growth of Tinder amongst key demos, specifically college
  • Manage Tinder’s college initiative working with agency partners and facilitating execution of tactics including but not limited to; on-the-ground events, guerilla marketing, ambassadors, influencers, social, paid media, press, etc.
  • Create working timelines, project trackers, budget trackers, and workback schedules to ensure campaign progression and alignment
  • Find opportunities and innovative ways to build community and brand penetration with key relevant demos (concentrating on gen z, college, etc)
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partner agencies
  • Generate creative and copy briefs to support development of campaign collateral
  • Prepare necessary recaps and reports of key meetings and campaign achievements
  • Live and breathe in culture - young adult / gen z subject matter expert to provide thought leadership around what will cut through with this audience
  • Track results and analytics and draw meaningful conclusions and findings from these metrics to craft brand and college initiatives

What we're looking for:

  • Prior marketing experience focused on college and/or building similar community engagement / brand ambassador / guerilla marketing programs
  • Someone who has both a creative and exceptional mind
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to look at the whole picture
  • Proactive self-starter and strategic problem solver with get-it-done attitude
  • Connected to social and cultural trends
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple partners across the organization
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
